I want to extend our sincere gratitude for the contributions large and small parents make throughout the school year to support our work in educating the children. We could not do our job without you! Know that all your efforts make a difference for our teachers and students. Special thanks to our 4th grade families that will be moving on to the Galvin Middle School next year. We will miss you!
If you like all the events and programming the PTO has provided you and your children, please consider joining us in the fall. There are several committees that currently lack either a chairperson or supporter.
It was wonderful to see families at our Spring Learning Fair. I’m sure you were impressed with your child’s growth during this school year. It is hard to believe we are down to the last two weeks of school!

Parents mark your calendar! Please join us Tuesday evening June 7 from 6:30-7:15 PM at the Greenwood School for our annual Spring Learning Fair. Your child will be celebrating with you all that he/she has learned throughout the school year. Don’t miss this evening of sharing and learning with your child!
One day soon, your Greenwood students will come home and tell you that their class went on a field trip to Mount Rushmore or the Great Pyramids of Egypt. Thanks to a generous grant of $2,500 from the Wakefield Education Foundation (WEF) and matching funds from the Greenwood School PTO, students and teachers now have access to hundreds of virtual educational experiences through the innovative Google Expeditions virtual reality kit.
