Sustainability/Recycling

Textile Recycling
Not sure what to do with the stained tablecloth you can't donate? How about all those baby clothes that have made their way through all your children?  In any condition, 95 percent of all textiles can be recycled or reused. Textile recycling bins are located at the front of the school. The Wakefield Public School system earns money from your recycling donation.

Marker Recycling
Don't throw out those dried-up markers! Crayola ColorCycle is a sustainability initiative designed to repurpose markers. Any type can be donated, including dry erase markers and highlighters! ColorCycle will eliminate placing hundreds of tons of markers into landfills. Our recycling box is across from our library.

Inkjet and Toner Cartridge Recycling
Recycling your used inkjet and toner cartridges not only helps the environment, it also raises money for the Greenwood School through a partnership with Cartridges for Kids (CFK). Our recycle bin located in the copy room across from the office.
