All students and families (K-4) are invited to participate in the 2023 Greenwood School Science Fair! Start planning your experiment, investigation, or engineering design project--projects will be done at home and presented at the Science Fair on Saturday, April 29th, 9-11am.
This year’s event will be held week of March 18th. We will welcome three amazing authors into our school: kindergarten students will be inspired by Wakefield’s own Sarah Lynne Reul. first and second grade students will be captivated by Carol Gordon Ekster, and third and fourth grade students will get to participate in a workshop with Kristine Asselin. It’s going to be a
fantastic week for the students!

Our family-friendly Halloween Party is one of the biggest social events of the year! Grab a costume and enjoy games, dancing, a costume contest and more. Join us from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Americal Civic Center. Buy your family ticket in advance to save $5.

The fourth grade Moving On Ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, June 13th.

We will host a volunteer meeting this Thursday, March 23 at 7:30pm on Zoom to ensure everyone is comfortable with their roles and to answer questions.

Organizing the Gator Gallop 5K takes an entire team. If you have an interest in logistics, want to help at the event, or could provide behind-the-scenes support such as social media posts, please join us for a planning meeting on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:30 pm on Zoom.

Our annual informational meeting for Committee Chairs and Class Parents to review roles and guidelines for this year, go over fundraising/financial policies, answer questions, and identify needed supports. It is important that all chairs and volunteers are aware of district, school, and PTO policies, as we work to bring more programming back this year!
Anyone interested in any volunteer opportunities is welcome to attend this Information Session!
