Student Pledge Packets: Due THIS Monday, 3/20

The Gator Gallop's Student Pledge Drive comes to an end THIS MONDAY, March 20. Please return your child to school Monday, March 20 with the his/her pledge packet, containing the pledge money (s)he has collected and his/her registration form. 

Students should seek pledges from family, friends and neighbors. Based on pledge dollars raised, students will earn entry to the 1M Fun Run (minimum of $10 raised), the 5K (minimum of $30 raised), or both races (minimum of $40 raised). Additionally, any student who raises at least $25 will receive a free race t-shirt. Any additional money that a student raises will go right back into the school! We can only guarantee that we are able to honor all registration selections through the Monday, March 20th deadline to return Student Pledge Packets. 

If your child cannot run, please do return the registration form ("neither" is a race selection) with pledge money, so that we can be sure to correctly attribute pledge money for the student pledge contest, and so we don't worry that we have lost the form!  There are prizes to be earned by both individuals and classrooms, for both pledge dollars raised and for percentage of classroom participating (which does include the teacher!).

The success of this event depends on the participation of Greenwood School Families. 

Parents and anyone who is NOT a Greenwood Student should register online at GatorGallop.com.  

  • Anyone, from anywhere, can register to run or walk in the chip-timed 5K.
  • Any child, 10 and under, can register for the 1M Fun Run.
  • Awards will given in both races, by age & gender.
  • Marathon legend Bobbi Gibb will present the 5K awards!!
  • DJ, free treats from our amazing sponsors and incredible raffles will make the scene!
