“Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.”

Dear Parents,

The Greenwood faculty and staff did a fantastic job preparing the children for our ALICE drill last Friday.  The students all appeared to be calm and understood that this is another type of drill we use to make sure we are safe at school.  Many thanks to the Wakefield Police Department for providing us with support and guidance during this important drill.

On Tuesday, October 31 our K-2 ghosts and goblins will participate in a Halloween parade around the outside of school at 2:15 p.m. Families are welcome to join us.

It is hard to believe November is right around the corner. The first day of parent/teacher conferences is Wednesday, November 8 during the afternoon, and evening conferences will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. The second day of conferences will be Wednesday, November 15 during the afternoon. Both days will be early release days for students. Classroom teachers will provide opportunities for parents to sign up in the weeks ahead if they have not done so already.

Have a great week!
